The Winnock Hotel’s history is synonymous with romance which makes it the perfect place to celebrate your Wedding Day.
With its most historic parts dating back to the 18th century, the hotel has many original features: cosy nooks, original wooden beams and open log fires to name but a few.
The hotel in present day has been sympathetically modernised and extended to provide space for private functions and 73 bedrooms including Luxury and Four Poster rooms.

Wedding Venues at The Winnock Hotel
The Winnock Hotel has a choice of two private rooms where Wedding Receptions can take place; The Capercaillie Room and The Merlin Restaurant.
The Capercaillie Room is an ideal venue for Weddings of between 40 and 140 guests. The room itself is light and spacious with its own bar and dance floor.
The Merlin Restaurant is perfect for the smaller, more intimate Wedding. Situated in the oldest part of the hotel, its exposed stone walls and wooden beamed ceiling make for a cosy and atmospheric setting.
The Winnock Hotel has played host to many Weddings over the years which has made us experts in getting the best out of the venue space available. We have four suggested floor plans showing table layouts which are detailed on the following page, these plans are of course only suggestions and we can adapt them to match your needs.

Wedding Food & Drinks
Mouth watering dishes presented in style.
The food and drinks you serve to your guests is an important area of consideration for any couple planning their Wedding.
To make things easy for you, we’ve created a menu selector which includes simple popular dishes as well as more a la carte courses for you to choose from. Just in case you can’t decide what to pick, we’ve also created some suggested menus.
When it comes to the buffet and drinks packages, we’ve got that covered too. We’ve detailed two suggestions for each.
Of course, if there is something in particular that you want to eat or drink, just tell your Wedding Co-ordinator who’ll do his best to arrange it for your special day.
Wedding Accommodation Prices
The tariff for bed and breakfast for wedding guests is based upon our published room rates on the day of your wedding. These rates will usually be available each January for the current year.
A 10% discount is offered to wedding guests for one night stays. This discount does not apply for Easter, Bank Holidays or Saturdays in August. 20% applies on all other weekends when staying two nights.
No rooms are guaranteed unless the relevant written confirmations and deposits have been received. All wedding rooms are considered as group reservations.
A 20% discount is offered for wedding parties of 50 or more held on any day from Monday to Friday inclusive. This discount applies to menu prices only.
Wedding Booking Terms & Conditions
A room hire charge may be incurred, depending on the number of guests and price of menu
A letter of confirmation enclosing a cheque for £250 must be received within 14 days of the provisional booking and this constitutes a firm reservation. Failure to confirm the booking within the stated time may result in cancellation. Deposits are non-refundable
May we ask you to contact us no later than 6 weeks prior to the date of your function, and final details and any adjustments to your plans are required not later than one week before your function
Notice of final numbers must be given at least 48 hours prior to your function. This is the number which will be charged to your account
Children under 12 are charged at half price.
